Narmada water park
This park was the relaxation place for the king during the time of feudalism. This park has a Hindu temple and swimming pool. It also has a fountain which is called "Youth Fountain", believed to give long life to a person that drinks its water. It is a great place to see Lombok people at play. |
Air Terjun Sindang Gila
One of the island's manynatural attractions located in Senaru Village along the slopes of the majestic Mount Rinjani. The water cascades everywhere here breaking some 50 m above the main arrival point.The path is pleasant and leads through some splendid tropical forest. |
Tanjung A'an
The sand here is very unique that it looks like pepper. Often good quality sarongs and kalapa muda drinks are available from locals seeking business at this beach. They will open up coconut for you of course supply a straw or glass to provide a refreshing drink whilst sitting at the beach. |
Pura Lingsar
This temple complex, built in 1714, is the holiest place on Lombok. The temple combines the Balinese Hindu and Wektu Telu religions in one complex. The Wektu Telu temple is noted for its small enclosed pond devoted to Lord Vishnu, and the holy eels which can be enticed from their hiding places with hard-boiled eggs |
Sorkling
There are a lot of snorkling areas in and around Lombok and all of them seem different. The water is clear around the island but some of the beaches has reef starting from the beach and some of them the reef is abit deeper which is great to swim in and also to snorkel. |
